Properly Exposed

Naomi came over yesterday to take Audrey's 6 month pictures. While here, she gave me a lesson on using the manual settings on my camera. Later that day I played around and was so happy with what I learned. Most of the pictures I take are in our poorly lit living room and they're always underexposed. She showed me some tricks and I'm finally off auto mode! I still need a lot of practice getting all the settings to work together just right (sometimes I fix one thing only to mess up something else), but I'm excited to finally understand some of it. My new 55 mm lense should arrive later this week :-)
