Adam and Erika's Wedding

My brother, Adam, married his love, Erika, on Monday Feb. 16 in Houston. These pictures are from the ceremony. Afterwards, we went to Corelli's Italian restaurant for a reception hosted by my mom. Their family and a few close friends were there. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures, but I'm sure someone will send me some (hint, hint!) and I'll post them. Everyone had a nice time and the newlyweds looked really happy. We're very excited for them as they start their new life together.
With this ring...

Time for kisses!
More kisses!

Chris sat with Audrey while I took some pictures. He later told me that she pooped noisily during the entire ceremony. Fortunately, no one else heard!

Adam didn't suspect a thing!

It's official!
Bubbles!

Aw, the happy couple!

Still flying under the radar! Who would expect a cutie like this to be so naughty!
The rings

And they're off to the reception, then onto their honeymoon at Lake Conroe

Amber's 2006 Fulbright Trip to Mexico

I just came across this video on the internet. I have a copy of it, but Chris is the only one I've ever shown it to. In 2006 I received a Fulbright scholarship and traveled all over Mexico for a month with a group of fellow teachers and. It was put together by the University of Texas. A film crew came with us for a few days to document our journey. The video is on this website: http://www.utexas.edu/oncampus/2008/03/05/artesamericas/

Here's an article about our experience: http://www.utexas.edu/features/2007/artesamericas/index.html

And a blog that some participants worked on during our trip. It has lots of nice pictures. That was before I was before I got into blogging and sadly I didn't contribute. http://aafulbright.blogspot.com/

This was an amazing, life changing experience for me. I would encourage all teachers to apply for this scholarship.

Jumperoo

We tried out the Jumperoo last week. Audrey was supposed to jump up and down with glee, but decided to just lick it instead. Hopefully the glee will come later.

MOMS Club Meeting

Christy, Molly, Audrey, and I went to our first MOMS Club meeting last Friday. Here's the website if you're interested in this organization: http://www.momsclub.org/
They have a meeting once a month. This meeting was also a Valentines Day party. In addition to the monthly meetings, they have tons of activities, such as playdates, visiting the playscape at the mall, pot luck lunch, moms night out, trip to the zoo, park, and the list goes on. All of the moms were really nice. I think it's going to be a nice group to be a part of.

Molly spent two hours making fruit loop bracelets. They had about 10 different activities, but she was happy just making bracelet after bracelet.
...and Audrey hung out in her stroller while I got a chance to visit with other moms. I'm sure this will be a really good group for her as she gets older, but for now it's more for me!
