Too-Too Cute!

My photographer friend, Naomi, (www.pitterpatterphotos.com) just took these of Audrey a few days ago. Seeing my honey smiling, crying, drooling....it all makes me beam. Thanks, Naomi! They're adorable!

Love this face!

Little Tornado

There are a few specific things that I pick up everyday and within minutes they are scattered all over the floor again!
One of Audrey's favorite activities is pulling all of the diapers out of this handy dandy diaper caddy that I keep in the living room. The upside is that it's cheap entertainment and doesn't come with irritating music. It also means I don't have to travel far to find a diaper since they're all over the floor.

Audrey also scatters her books all over the floor. As I've posted before, she spends lots of time just flipping through them. They're never in one pile for long. It amazes me how she carefully turns the pages one at a time, looks at all the pictures, and always has the book right side up.

And she tips her toy baskets over just to take every item out one at a time, spending about 3 seconds with each toy.

Oh, boy! Another shelf she can almost reach!

I may gripe, but the truth is that I laugh everytime she goes exploring. She seems so focused on the task at hand and I can tell that she's always learning something.

More Puffs!?!

I gave Audrey her Puffs in this snack cup holder. Watching her trying to get them was adorable!

I love how she smashes food into her mouth using her whole hand.

After the picture taking was over, she figured out that if she just pushed in one of the flaps on the cup and shook it hard a dozen or so Puffs would fly out. That's her preferred method, so alas, the snack cup had to be put away until she gets a little older.

Kiddie Acres

Audrey and I took our first trip to Kiddie Acres this week with Christy and her kids Molly and Owen as well as her sister Jennifer and baby Lila. Kiddie Acres is an inexpensive no-frills amusement park for young children. It will be a great place to take Audrey when she gets a little older.

We rode the kiddie train, but Audrey didn't really seem to notice!

Molly and Owen had fun on all the other rides...boats, airplanes, pony rides, a ferris wheel, and a carousel. I love how when it's time to say cheese Molly pulls her bottom eyelid down. Look closely, it's pretty funny!

Audrey and I did ride the carousel. We started with her on a horse and I stood next to her and held her. She did hang onto the pole, but as soon as the ride started she began to cry. They stopped the ride (we were the only ones on it) and we moved to a bench seat on the carousel. She didn't cry then, but she hung onto my shoulder for dear life! I can't wait to go back when she's bigger.

Multi-purpose chair

We got Audrey this "infant to toddler" chair a few months ago when she outgrew her bouncer. She lays in it when she drinks her milk. Lately she's started climbing into it by herself to either sit and play with the straps, proudly stand in it, or stand in it to climb onto the couch and then attempt to climb onto the end table.

She recently started playing with this fishbowl that Eric and Lauren got her for Christmas. She enjoys putting the 3 fish in and out of the bowl and causing the music and lights to go off. Right now it's one of her favorite toys.

Uh oh! She lost her fishies yesterday. Where did they go?
