We put Audrey in her bumbo for the first time a few days before Thanksgiving. She still needs some help, but we were suprised how well she can sit up by herself.

Girls Gone Wild - Infant Edition

We've been swaddling Audrey in just her diaper lately. Seeing her stretch her arms when she's naked inspired me to doctor up the following photograph.

Doin' the Cabbage Patch

Grandma Karen came to visit again this past weekend and she had the idea of dressing up Audrey and taking pictures with Mommy's old Cabbage Patch dolls. Audrey's just about the same size as they are. Grandma made the dolls wearing the pink and yellow dresses for Mommy when she was a little girl. Those two dresses were originally worn by Mommy when she was a baby.

Grandma Karen came to visit after spending the weekend in New Braunfels. Notice the spit up drooling out of Audrey's mouth!


Since she can take off mittens, we love these nightgowns that have reversible cuffs on the end so that Audrey can't get her hands out to scratch her face. But somehow even with these she's able to get out a single thumb.

Apparently Audrey is a fan of Irish dance, because she strikes the 'Lord of the Dance' pose unexpectedly and pretty often. Here's two pictures of her doing it.

The 2nd Casualty

The 2nd casualty happened the other day on the couch. Oddly enough, this one came from Amber, not Audrey. She fell asleep after tending to Audrey all night and she leaked milk all over the couch.

1st Walk

Amber took Audrey on her first walk around the neighborhood today. She lasted a whole 30 minutes before getting mad and Amber took this picture.

Audrey's Swing

We finally found a swing that Audrey likes. This one reclines quite a bit for very small kids and can swing either side to side or head to toe.

Uncle Eric and Aunt Lauren Visit

Uncle Eric and Aunt Lauren came to visit a little over a week ago (the blog is taking longer to update now that I'm back at work). We had a fun time with them. They brought Audrey some children's books by an author who's also named Audrey Wood.
